Yesterday, Patrick was very proud to march in the Memorial Day parade.
Every boy in his Cub Scout pack participated by carrying an American flag. They all looked great. Despite the rain everyone had a good time. Grace loved picking up the candy. Benjamin spent most of the parade with his ears covered. He hated the semis blowing their horns and the fire trucks and ambulances turning on their sirens.

Some people are just clueless - Mark had to yell at some of the men standing down the block from us to show some respect and take their hats off as the American flag was carried by - first by the vets of the American Legion then by the Cub Scouts.
Patrick and his best bud Blaine. If you can't find one of them at a scouting or school event - look for the other one, they're bound to be close by.
