Yesterday was the Awards Ceremony and Game Day at school. Patrick got an award for Excellent Attendance. He only missed 1 day of school! I in no way "forgot" to send him to school that day - therefore ruining his perfect attendance. Actually I thought it was Columbus day (I was a week early) and he did have a bad cough and sore throat. I would have kept him home anyway - it's just the thought that I actually forgot that he had school that day
After the awards ceremony the kids picnicked on the grass outside with their parents. It was so fun. The weather was great! After lunch the games started. They had two big inflatables to play on, a face painting station, kickball, relay races and snacks. By far the favorite station of the day though was the dunk tank! The kids absolutely LOVED dunking their PE teacher, music teacher, and most of all - the PRINCIPAL!!!
