Yesterday was a special day for Patrick and I. It was the 2nd Grade Author's Tea at school. He invited me to come and I was so glad to be able to go. He served me tea and cookies and then he read a story that he had written in front of the class and all of their guests with a microphone. It was great. His story was called "The Fat Panda". It was based on the characters from the movie "Kung Fu Panda". After he read his story he also read a poem that he had written for me for Mother's Day. He also gave me a gift that I can't open until Sunday - I can't wait. I love my Patrick - I felt very special yesterday :)
