Today our "little" Gracie turned FOUR years old! How did that happen? Was it really that long ago that I was laying in a hospital bed and Mark said "It's a girl" and I made him go double check? We didn't know what we were having and I had convinced myself that we were having a boy and his name would be Nicholas :) I was never so glad to be wrong in all my life! Grace is truly a bundle of joy! She makes me laugh every day even when my day is awful. Her smile can light up a room! She's a handful for sure. It's going to be an adventure as she grows up that is for sure! It's an adventure I'm happily looking forward to.
We celebrated with her birthday with a party with the grandparent's tonight. She had a wonderful time being the center of attention! She got lots of new stuff to go with her new doll house and she was thrilled. She parked herself there in front of it and played while chaos reigned around her. It was like she was in a different world! I took a ton of pictures and loved them all so here they are.

Grace in her new Hello Kitty skirt & shirt.

She was so happy to find out that it was "super twirly"!

I put pink Hello Kitty streamers around the Christmas tree to make it more "birthday-
ish". She loved it of course. Now she doesn't want me to take it off!

Her Birthday Balloons - pink of course.

Opening presents

I don't know who was more excited!

She's sleeping with her fuzzy Hello Kitty slippers as I'm typing this :)

Here she is hugging the Post-It notes that Papa gave her. She honestly LOVES those things. She's always stealing them at their house and "writing" notes and making "tickets" for them. It's not too hard to please her!

She thought her new coat was bee-u-tee-
ful!

It was my Mom's birthday on Saturday so we combined their celebrations into one. Ma knew when Grace was born that she'd never have her own birthday again :)

A mini-van for her dollies - and it plays music!

Emma's pretty thrilled with the doll house too....much to Grace's dismay.

Grace's birthday decor....can you guess what her favorite color is?

Emma was having a rough time. She wanted everything that Grace had and Grace did NOT want to share.

The cake. It was lovely - until I left the room and Emma climbed up and stuck her hand in it. Boy was she in BIG trouble! I'm sad I didn't get a picture before it was mangled :( Grace didn't care a bit though. It was pink and that was all that mattered!

Make a wish....I wonder if she wished for more pink?

Brandy got a "Welcome to the Family" gift from Nannie, Grandpa & Ellie (their dog) :) She loves her new toy!!

And this is where she sat most of the evening!

Grace with my Dad & Diana (Nannie & Grandpa)

Grace & my grandparents (Nanny & Papa)

Grace with my Mom & Wes (Nana &
Grampy)
And yes - all the kids can keep them all straight! I'm confused most of the time but they always can keep their Nanas, Nannys, & Nannies, Papas, Grampys & Grandpas straight! It's impressive!
