Christmas Parties at School

I got to help with both boys' Christmas parties at school this year. It was so much fun! Luckily the parties were at different times so I could go to both. I'm so lucky that they like having me at school with them. I hope they don't grow out of that any time soon.
Patrick's class played "Pin the Hat on the Snowman" and laughed through the whole game. He has a great class. There are only 12 kids in it and they are all the best of friends (most of the time). After that they played a game where they split up into three teams of four kids and they all had to work together to wrap a present - with one hand behind their backs! It was really really funny to watch!! Two of the teams had two girls and two boys and they did pretty good working together and getting the present to actually look pretty good. Then there was the other team which Patrick was on that had three boys and one girl. Boy, did I feel sorry for her. She was trying so hard and the boys were not nearly as cooperative as another girl would have been :) They had a great time! So did I.

Patrick's present wrapping "team". Nice.

The winners!

Benjamin's Kindergarten class had a great time too. They made snowman ornaments and played bingo and had "snowball races". It was a blast. The snowball races were too funny! The class was split up into two teams of 8 kids and everyone got a straw. They took turns blowing the snowball (cotton ball) down the hall and back. There was a lot of giggling, cheering, and even a little spit involved in that game! They had a blast!
