On the Road

I do a lot of driving.  It's just normal for me.  I live in the middle of nowhere, therefore wherever I have to go - I have to drive.  That means in any given week I'm spending at least a couple of hours in the van.  One evening as I was coming home from town the sun was setting.  The colors were just amazing.  Luckily I had my camera bag with me.  So, while driving down the road, I got my bag unzipped, got the camera out, the lens cap off, and the camera on and managed to take these two shots while driving.  I edited them a bit and upped the color saturation a little but even without the edit the colors were stunning.

I also like to take the kids for drives in the evenings when we have time or need to just take a break.  We usually see at least a few deer.  This time we saw a whole bunch at once - and most of them were bucks!  Good thing Mark wasn't there....he'd have had some sort of spaz out or something ;)
The quality of the shot is pretty poor because I don't have a lens that will get very close yet.  (Notice the "yet" in that sentence....I will have one, someday.)
