Galena 2010

Wow - I don't even know where to begin this post!

I went on another "Girl's Getaway" vacation to Galena with Emily this July.  This year we also took her friend Ronda with us.  We had SO much fun, and I've pretty much decided I want to move to Galena.  We went on a lunch cruise on the Mississippi on a paddle wheel boat that lost one of it's paddles and had to be pushed into dock by a tug boat, went to several wineries and drank some wine, survived a torrential downpour and flooding, made some awesome jewelry, made it through a ghost tour where the scariest thing was the gigantic hill we had to climb, shopped until we nearly dropped, and went on a beautiful garden tour.  We had an awesome time!  Even though it rained 11 inches in two days it never really rained on us when we were doing anything - we really lucked out!!

I don't even know how I'd pick my favorite photos to share of the trip but this one kind of sums it all up ;o)

Just kiddin' we only went to two vineyards.  Next time going to more :)
