We celebrated Patrick's birthday as a family on the 15th...since that's his actual birthday:) Patrick wanted to party at Chuck E Cheese's so that's where we went. We were going to take his presents there but at the last minute I changed my mind and decided I really didn't need to drag them all the way to town and back - so he just opened them before we went.
Note to anyone that hasn't taken their kids to CEC's....it is NOT for the faint of heart, especially if you have more than one or two kids! Four kids wanting to do four different things was interesting to say the least. Overall, they were great and everyone had a blast! They even decided to save up their tokens for next time to see how many they could save. Wow - MY children practicing restraint and delayed gratification???? I think they've been abducted by aliens!
