My Dad is building the king of all tree houses for his grandkids! He even bought them tool belts and tiny hammers so they could help. So far they have carried lumber, nailed nails, and generally gotten in the way :) But I don't know who has more fun - the kids or Grandpa, since he's just a big kid himself.
I guess technically it's more of a "house right beside the tree" because the tree they were going to put it in was splitting so they put it on posts instead. It's going to be a heck of a tree house with an open deck on the bottom level and then a ladder up to the "house" part where there will be a deck on the outside and a loft inside too! Wow, Nannie & Grandpa rock!
Uncle Reid and Nathan even got to come help! The kids were thrilled!
