Went to one of the local town festivals to watch the parade. Unfortunately "Mother Nature" didn't cooperate at all. Right as the parade started it started pouring rain. Not just a little sprinkle - it poured. From the very start of the parade to the very end. It was awful. All the candy that the kids managed to pick up was ruined from being wet. The rain didn't dampen Grace's spirits though. She stood out there with Daddy, Grampy, Grandpa & Uncle Mekeli the whole time. She was so wet that I could wring out her clothes and dump water out of her shoes! Patrick and their cousin Nathan stayed out most of the time too. Benjamin didn't really want to have anything to do with that - he was too afraid it was going to thunder. Luckily there was a tent right behind where we were sitting so as soon as it started raining I took shelter there with Emma & Benny.

The clouds were actually rotating - it was kind of scary for a little while.

Benjamin and Aime stayed pretty dry. Aren't they cute? Benny says he wants to marry her when they grow up because "she is a nice and pretty girl". :)
After the parade - you can tell who was in the rain the most! Grace looks like a drowned rat!
Later that evening we took the kids back up and rode a few last rides.

Emma & Ashlyn - they are going to be good buddies too. They are only 6 months apart in age.
