Family...and a lot of it!

Last night we had a get together with my dad's brothers and a bunch of my cousins and their kids. I can't remember the last time there were that many of us together....it's been a really long time! It was great that Reid, Charly, Lisa, Ayla, and Nathan were able to make it down here on such short notice. It was nice to visit and reconnect with everyone and meet kids and stuff. It was fun. Crazy, but fun. There were fourteen kids 8 and under and 6 older kids! Wow - did it get loud. Hopefully it won't be years and years before we do it again - especially since so many of the kids are the same ages. We're missing one kid in this picture. Bob burnt his hand on a hot stick from the fire in the yard and was soaking his hand in a bowl of water. Poor Bob - he had a rough evening.
This is my cousin Tom & his wife Jodi's little girl, Chloe. She'll be one next month. She shares a birthday with my dad - that's the only reason I remember it :) She and Emma were learning how to 'share' the hula hoop. They both found it pretty fascinating for a few minutes anyway.
