Last Sunday we celebrated Mark's Mom's birthday along with Patrick & Emma again since they hadn't gotten to celebrate with Grandma yet. Mom came out Sunday afternoon and they all opened presents and then I went and picked up taco salads for dinner - Yum! Then we had cake - that I stayed up late the night before decorating. Kathy/Aunt Kiki came over after she got off of work. We had a fun time visiting and Patrick loved his new Legos and Emma got some food & diapers (which she has been enjoying all week). She also got some adorable outfits that will be too cute on her! They say "Thanks Grandma & Aunt Kiki!"
Patrick and his new Combine Lego - he can't wait to build it! He saved it for this weekend so Mark could help him.

This was Mom's birthday cake. I liked how the colors went together. They just seemed so nice and springy. I'd like to take cake decorating classes someday to learn the correct techniques and more interesting ways to decorate a cake.
