Mark just got back from a five week trip to China. He was gone from mid-April to the last week in May :( Unfortunately, he was gone over Mother's Day. To make up for that he got me a GREAT present when he got back - a Nikon D5000 camera!!!!!!! There aren't even enough exclamation points to describe my excitement!! I've always wanted a "real" camera and now I have one! Who wants to teach me how to use this bad boy?? I really, really want to learn how to shoot in full manual mode.
Here are some of my favorite pictures I snapped the first few days after I got it.

My baby.

My oldest "baby". Nice look ;o)

Gracie

All my babes.

Thanks, Honey!! Love my camera!! Here, stand still while I take a picture of you... really, I won't put it on the blog...
Shhhh, don't tell.

Benny. This picture about sums up his life. "It's so hard to be a Benny."

Grace ate breakfast in her helmet one day... safety first, I guess.

Emma on her "
horsie".
Gerbera Daisys are one of my favorite flowers! They are so happy looking!

Emma was sound asleep under her
blankie.
Awwww. I've never been able to take a good "sleeping" shot without a flash before!!! I love it!

Beware...this may be the beginning of a dangerous trend - I foresee lots of cute napping shots in the future.

Grace - again.

This is for sure one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. He looks so "old" in this picture though :( Where is my little baby?

Oh no...a sleeping Gracie picture.

Another flower.

Can you tell she was dancing? I'm still trying to figure out how her face stayed mostly in focus.
