Memorial Day
The boys wore their brand new Cub Scout uniforms to march in the parade. Benny was SO excited to be a part of his very first "official" Cub Scout event! He is a brand new Tiger Cub! Patrick moved up to Webelo 1 and got his new brown shirt. Don't they look spiffy? In the parade Patrick got to beat a drum and Benny carried a flag. They ended the parade with a really nice Memorial Day service in the cemetary where they had decorated the veteran's graves. It was great to be part of remembering those who have served our country so that we may continue to have the freedoms that many of them fought for.
My camera battery died right after I took this first picture. I took some more with Diana's camera and will add them when I get them.
