This is post #1 of Reid and Charly's "Wedding Weekend"
It all started on June 17, 2010.
The Rehearsal.
After an engagement that seemed to last forever, finally it was time for Reid & Charly's wedding. Since Mark was in China I hauled all the kids up to the suburbs all by myself for all of the fun. The rehearsal was on Thursday and for some reason that I would find out later I and the kids needed to be there - even though none of us were in the wedding. I was all confused, but went along with everyone anyway and we showed up when we were supposed to.
Here are all the kids "helping" Grandpa bring in the luggage... yeah, helping - that's what they're doing!
Of course the boys instantly attacked Nathan.

I think they actually went through all the entire ceremony - I really think they were married at the rehearsal ;)

So THIS would be the reason I had to be at the rehearsal! Dad & Diana flew my brother James and his wife Wynona, and my nephew Ethan in to Chicago from San Diego!!! How awesome of a surprise was that?!? I hadn't seen James in 3 years!!! Guess what - I cried. First though, I screamed because he scared me - then I cried.

After the rehearsal dinner Jamie & James went with me to pick up my best friend Emily from Union Station. She was awesome to come up and be my "date" for the wedding and help me with all the kids!
