Happy Easter!

On Easter morning the kids were surprised to fine that the Easter Bunny had hidden Easter eggs for them with clues in them to find their Easter baskets. This year the weather was so nice that he hid them outside! On a sad note right after the egg hunt started Benny got sick to his tummy and threw up :( He had to stay home with Mark the rest of the day. They laid around and watched TV and took naps while the rest of us went to church to celebrate the Resurrection, had another egg hunt, and then went to Nanny & Papa's for Easter lunch and visit with family. We also celebrated Patrick & Emma's birthdays too - but that will be a separate post.
Here the kids are reading the "Easter Egg Hunt Rules" that the Bunny left for them on the wall.
It was so exciting!! This was the first year that Benjamin could help read the clues!!
After reading each clue they found their way to the next egg that would give them another clue that would get them one step closer to finding their baskets. They were so excited when they found them!
Here they are with all of their loot! They each got new beach towels, a swim suit, goggles and a little bit of candy. The boys got Toy Story 1 & 2 on DVD and the girls got stuffed Pooh & Piglet. Emma loves all things Pooh and Grace is all about everything PINK!
Awww...Even Mark got a basket :) He got some Betty Crocker Warm Delights in the Chocolate Chip Cookie variety, some deodorant, body wash, and the first two "Die Hard" movies.

I got a basket too. I got a new razor, Brownie Warm Delights, shaving cream, and the third "Die Hard" movie.
Even though Benjamin was sick I still had him dress up in his Easter clothes so I could get a picture of all the kids together. Aren't they a good looking bunch? I bought the three oldest's outfits at Christmastime while I was shopping for presents. I found outfits I liked so I just went ahead and got them! I was so glad because I never did see anything that I liked any better. Of course this year it was nearly 80 degrees and I had the boys dressed in long sleeved shirt, long pants and actual shoes...unlike last year when it was cold and they were in shorts, short sleeved shirts and sandals :) Go figure.
Mark took this one of me & our four precious babies. Goodness, I swear I love them so much my heart feels like it could explode sometimes!
At church the kids had another egg hunt where they found eggs full of candy. Grace got a little over-excited and tripped and fell. Of course I was right there with my camera handy and had to snap a picture before I helped her get up and gather her eggs back into her basket:)
Grampy took Emma into the preschool room and she had the run of the place! No one else even came in there. She found a TON of eggs and had the best time.
This is our friends Clay and Jennifer's littlest girl, Ashyln Jenna. She is six months younger than Emma.
This is Ashlyn's big sister Aime. She is three months younger than Grace and is her best friend!
Patrick with his haul.
Grace looking for eggs at church.
Here the kids are with Nana & Grampy.
This is me in my new dress that I bought for Easter. I really liked it so I splurged and got it for myself :) Of course then I had to have new shoes and a sweater to go over it...
This is Alexander. Isn't he adorable? He is my cousin Amy & Michael's little guy. He is 8 months old. He was pretty entralled with Nanny's bunny slippers for a while!
Wes taking a little nap...
