Back on March 26, while Mark was still in China my Dad & Diana kept the kids for me for the night and I went to Champaign to visit my very bestest friend in the whole entire world for her birthday :) We had a great time! We ate dinner at Famous Dave's - YUM!!! Then I introduced her to my new world of "coupon shopping". I'll have to write up a post on my new shopping method sometime. She got some allergy medicine for a good price with some coupons I'd saved for her. Then after we'd run all over town getting cheap stuff we headed back to her place to visit. You know you are getting old when you buy the little tiny bottles of booze at the liquor store because you know if you bought a big bottle it would be sitting on the counter for the next 20 years... :) We made ourselves a total of two drinks - aren't we the wild ones! The first one shouldn't count - it was really awful. Note to self: Never substitute green apple vodka for apple pucker - not the same results at all! YUCK. Then to top off our wild night we pulled out her Wii Fit and played with it until 2:30 in the morning. I had muscles in my belly that I'd forgotten even existed! I was even sore the next day. That darn hula hoop game! We had a great time. This year is our "20th Anniversary" of being friends - geesh, that makes me feel super old.

Emily's doggie, Buttons. I lovingly call her "Butt" for short :) Sorry that's all I could come up with for a nickname! She LOVES toys - that actually might be an understatement. Check out her blog sometime at http://busy-buttons.blogspot.com/ . She is super funny with her toys.
