Snack Time!!

I got awesome mail today!!! The mail man scared the crud out of me when he pounded on the door - but was worth it. I got a big box and inside was a big basket of popcorn!! Emily ordered it from one of the shops we visited when we went to Galena last summer. I've already had to sample all of it :o) That will be a nice snack while watching figure skating on the Olympics tonight!

The basket looked much better right out of the box but I got a little carried away and demolished it before I remembered to take a picture :)
Emily told the man who put the basket together to go with a "spicy" theme. I think he covered that...

Left - Right Top Row: Jalapeno & Cheddar and Hellfire & Damnation (that one is Spiiiicy - but good)

Bottom: Texas Tornado and Dulce de Chili (that one is a caramel corn with a kick!)

On the side is a bag of Hot and Spicy Peanuts.

This one scared me... it was the Hellfire & Damnation one. Notice how red/orange it is? I was scared to take a bite. Yeah ... it's hot! In a good way though. You know the feeling when your tongue is on fire but you just can't stop eating? That kind of good :) Probably should only take that one in smallish doses.

The Texas Tornado & Jalapeno Cheddar were both yummy. Spicy but they weren't "killer" hot. They had about the same level of heat but had totally different flavors.

I think I'm in love with the Dulce de Chili :) At first all you taste is caramel corn.... then it sneaks up on you and "BAM" you get the spicy... I like it. But I'm a freak like that ;o)

The Hot & Spicy Peanuts are just that - hot and spicy. I love them! They would probably go awesome with a cold beer - if I liked beer, which I don't so...well, never mind.
