Pitiful Pearls

Once again our house has been invaded by sickness :( This time so far it has just been the girls and thankfully has not involved any puking! Grace came down with a high fever on Sunday. I took her to the Dr. on Monday and he said that she had a red throat too. They did a strep test and thankfully that came back negative. It's just some virus that has to run it's course...but it makes for some pretty pitiful little girls :( Emma started coming down with it last night - just as Grace was starting to feel better.

Emma was trying to make Grace feel better on Monday.

This was Emma at dinner last night. Good grief - how sad is that?

This was Emma this morning. I laid her on the couch and covered her up. She stayed there for quite a while. She wouldn't let go of her blankie or her Pooh for anything. I did manage to pry the pacifier out of her mouth long enough to get a picture though.

This was Emma a little later. She had gotten up and played for a little bit then I saw her walk towards the couch and when I went to check on her a few minutes later I saw that she had climbed up on the couch and had fallen fast asleep. If you know Emma - she must feel really bad because she NEVER just goes to sleep by her choice. She was so sad looking.

I did pick her up and move her to the crib because I was afraid she was going to fall off of the couch. She didn't even complain and went right back to sleep.
