A Visit to Emily's - Part Two: The Orchard

On Sunday we did our yearly trek down to the orchard where Emily lives. We all had such a great time. The kids fed the goats, played in the maze, went down the inflatable slide & obstacle course, had a pony ride and wagon ride. We had a great day! It really was a lot of fun. Exhausting - but fun!! I also dressed the kids up in their Halloween costumes so Emily could see them. She was surprised at the door by Obi-Wan Kenobi, a pirate, a fairy, and a mouse:)
The kids in front of the apple - I think I take this one every year :) Along with the little bees...

Benny
Emma - we've been coming here ever since Patrick was her age!

Me :)
Feeding the goats. Benny was afraid of them.
Is this the sweetest picture ever? Patrick sure does love his baby sister.
Emma playing around.
Cutie pie.
Patrick is practically "too cool" for his pony.
Emma was going to have nothing to do with her pony -she tried to climb on top of my head!
Grace - fearless and showing off as usual.
Benny - he's afraid of a goat but he'll hop right up on the pony. He did complain that it was a little "wiggly" though.
Em & Emma (M&M) :)
Patrick & I on the wagon ride.

Nice bounce Patrick!
Way to go Benny!
Here comes Gracie!
Emily insisted that Emma needed to go too - She loved it!!!

Do you know how hard it is to get four kids to look at the camera at once? Good luck with that.
Emma was tired of the picture taking.
My lil' pumpkins.
Emma - doing what she does best - being cute.
Grace - doing what she does - being weird.
So close to a really good picture.
Best friends - for 20 years now! (Does that make us old?)
Emily & "Mouse". We've called Emma "Mouse" since she was a tiny baby. I thought it would be appropriate to dress her as one this Halloween. The kids call her Mouse as often as they call her Emma.
Aunt Mimi & the kids. What a wild looking bunch!
