Benny Turns SIX!

Benjamin turned 6 on Sunday! I can't believe how the time has flown. My littlest boy is getting big. We celebrated at our house on Sunday night with a party with his Nanny & Papa (my grandparents) and Nana & Grampy (my mom & step dad). The other grandparents weren't able to be here that night but sent their love and we will celebrate with them another time.

The night before I trapped him in his bed as he slept. He thought that was pretty funny when he woke up!

Benjamin wanted a "pirate" cake for his birthday this year. I had very specific instructions from him about how it was supposed to look. He wanted a brown ship, blue water underneath of it, and some white fluffy clouds. He told me the rest could look like whatever I wanted :) I was SO lucky to find a pirate ship that was supposed to hang from something - I just cut it off of it's hanger and stuck it on the cake! It even came with a "white fluffy cloud".

He also got some Legos - which he loved of course, some Pokemon toys, some money, a gift card and a bunch of new clothes. Surprisingly he was very appreciative of the clothes. He actually looked at all of them and didn't just throw them over his shoulder.

We are very lucky to have Benjamin in our family. He is one of the sweetest little boys ever. He is thoughtful of others and loves to help with anything that I need help with. We were very blessed when God decided to give us Benjamin as an addition to our family.
