Patrick had his Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts this evening. It is a very big deal! This is when the Scouts get their awards and achievements recognized for the year. Patrick is a Wolf Scout this year and by May he will have gotten his wolf patch and will be ready to move on to the Bear Den next year. Patrick was awarded belt loops and pins for BB shooting, archery, and swimming. He also got a conservation pin and a gold arrowhead for finishing at least 10 'achievements' from the Wolf Scout book. There was a potluck with tons of yummy food and they got to celebrate the Webelo 2's moving on to Boy Scouts. It was fun. Patrick's favorite part was getting to play with his best friend Blaine! This picture is from last month's Pinewood Derby. Patrick wanted a truck this year. He placed third in his Den. We are very proud of him!
